After a LONG day of driving and surviving about a thousand bends we arrived at the stunning Sauris where we stayed in a B&B overlooking a damned glacial turquoise lake. We ate at the B&B as the restaurant was highly recommended, it was wonderful to eat outside surrounded by the mountains. Again we had an issue with the language barrier and the menu, but our wonderful waitress that spent ages trying to translate for us suggested that she bring us three of the starters to try. The food was spectacular and the Tiramisu was the best I’ve ever had! The breakfast the next day was perfect and we had more food that we could possibly eat so we left with full stomachs and a packed lunch.
