Casey Saddle and Binser Saddle overnight tramping loop

Car-n't be far now

After our last adventure up the Cameron valley and failing to make it to the hut, we decided to take our new tent for a spin on this two day loop in Arthur’s Pass. The weather forecast was for rain and high winds, but this part of the region is known to be slightly drier and it was only due to rain heavily overnight. Considering that last time we tried to make it to a hut we failed, this tramp was perfect since there was no hut get to (the Casey Hut having burnt down last October).

Wet feet and wasps aside, we managed to stay ahead of the chasing rain clouds and had the Poulter and Andrew valleys to ourselves so it was a perfect way to spend the weekend.
